Designed and fabricated calibration and measurement components in CAD to improve experimental accuracy, including a laser sheet alignment tool, a motorized stage adapter, a ruler holder for PIV calibration, and a precision plate holder. These tools enhanced setup repeatability and data quality for PIV and PLIF experiments on jet mixing and shear-layer instabilities.
Modeled and assembled all rover components in SolidWorks, including the chassis, arm mechanism, claw, and gears. Oversaw manufacturing and integration to ensure system functionality during the prototype challenge.
Developed both the OpenRocket simulation model and CAD designs for the rocket, including the airframe and payload housing. Combined digital modeling with hands-on fabrication techniques such as 3D printing and fiberglass layups to bring the rocket from concept to launch.
