Designed and fabricated calibration and measurement components in CAD to improve experimental accuracy in PIV and PLIF measurements. This included laser sheet alignment tools, motorized stage adapters, rulers for calibration, and precision plate holders. These tools enhanced setup repeatability and data quality for advanced jet mixing and shear-layer instability research.
Modeled and assembled all rover components in SolidWorks, including the chassis frame, arm mechanism with integrated claw, gear systems, and sensor mounts. Oversaw manufacturing and assembly integration to ensure all subsystems worked cohesively. The rover prototype was designed to navigate terrain and manipulate objects in a 48-hour competition environment.
Developed both the OpenRocket simulation model and comprehensive CAD designs for a G-class rocket designed to reach 3,000 feet while protecting an egg payload. Iterated through multiple design prototypes using SolidWorks. Integrated advanced fabrication techniques including 3D printing for custom components, fiberglass layups for the airframe, and laser cutting for structural elements. Successfully coordinated testing and design reviews to ensure mission success.
